Finding a shared flat or somewhere to live can be easy for many and not so easy for others… it depends on understanding where you need to live, finding somewhere that isn’t 2 hours from work and having realistic expectations! London is a little like student flatting when at Uni and finding your first shared flat with mates after those crazy party days. Understand that there is competition from everywhere to get into a room of your own. Many Kiwis room share too! It is not important to live in Central London either! If you’re living reasonably close to a tube/bus/train line you are connected to all of London.
We know the hot places to live are Clapham right now, but with demand vs supply that means higher rent prices. Living 10-20 mins from Clapham and other in demand areas can be cheaper! It is always good to check on our weekly flat post (app and post) to see what areas are costing these days and get in quick!
BEST PLACE TO FIND A ROOM/FIND FLATMATES
