Yeah, this probably should be near the top of any list and we know how hard it is when missing our favourites from home. Rest assured, the days of us not having good coffee in London ended 15 or so years ago! London is full of Kiwi and Aussie cafes who do amazing tasty things!
What about all the places to find our snacks? I think below we will have a pretty good list of where to find the good stuff. If you know of any more or perhaps you own a cafe or shop yourself – drop us a DM at Kiwis in London!
WHERE CAN I GET LAMINGTONS?
You can find Lamingtons at many of the (Aussie) Artisan cafes, there are 4 of them, Putney, East Sheen, Ealing and Stamford Brook. Call them to find out if they are in stock or hit them up on their Facebook page!
WHAT DO OTHER CAFES SELL THAT WE LOVE?
Shepherds Bush’s Proud Marys is an unashamedly Kiwi cafe and sells Pics Peanut Butter and other Kiwi snacks too! (and sometimes mince on toast!!) And do incredible coffee (obviously!)
In Hammersmith and now Fulham – Carbon Kopi Cafe has been spotted selling Kiwi snacks too!
And if you’re out Richmond way, Butter Beans cafe is really popular with snacks and stuff to cure homesickness!
Kiwi cafe legends Flotsam & Jetsam are also coming up with amazing snacks and sell Pics Peanut Butter as well. You must try their coffee!
The godfathers of the Kiwi cafe scene Ozone is insane… you need to see and eat there to believe it! Their breakfasts are the stuff of legend.
And we can’t function without visiting Caravan for a mean meaaaaan coffee… say no more.

Mate, it’s been in London for a few years now. You can find them at most decent sized Tesco stores and they are doing some market stalls in London too so keep your eyes open!

Find beers and wines at SANZA who also sell EVERYTHING for the Kiwi and Aussie who misses food!

We got you covered! Head to the New Zealand Beer Collective online store and you’ll be well looked after. These guys have all the good stuff and continually bringing in new stock too!

You’re in luck! Specialist Cellars, led by the mighty Mel, has amazing drops of NZ finest wines! You can find your favourites or discover new ones in her store, check it out here!

At Shepherds Bush Westfield there’s a store called Thrive News that stocks Kiwi and Aussie food and ESP drinks!
You may still find some goodies at the OzNZ shop about a 15 min walk from the Shepherds Bush station, it’s an off licence (dairy) that stocks goodies too.
Those based out in the East – Canary Wharf can go to The Sweet City (Formerly Hot News) to find their goodies. No website but head to 14 Hertsmere Rd, London E14 4AF
Look out for B&M Stores as SOME of them have Kiwi and Aussie food too!

Well you don’t look like one…..! but anyway, YES you can find them in London! And YES they are expensive! Look for them in Harrods and Lemon and Limes in West Hampstead!
WE HAVE SOME BAD NEWS ABOUT THE KIWI DIP….
Nestle have discontinued the reduced cream in the UK as from early 2023. Devastating news for Kiwi dip fans! We have been using the local “extra thick cream” for decades – which was exactly the same as the NZ product. But now the good times are over! We do not recommend anything else as a substitute unless you want a second rate excuse of a dip! We have FOUND a local substitute for you.. but you gotta search for it – and it’s worth the effort!

I should have put this on top, sorry! Let me rant about the pies in the UK, they suck. They are soggy and sad things that collapse as soon as you see them. They’re a fucken disgrace. And don’t even get me on them using short crust pastry instead of flaky!
Ok.. rant over. Sadly as from May 2023, we lost the Secret Goldmine cafe. So your first and only point of call is our mate, Ben!
Kiwi Butcher Ben, from Waimate runs Pethers of Kew. Kew is a fancy as area in London but he has a freaking pie warmer in the window of this lush butchery and his pies that he makes are amazing.
You must drop in and clean him out like so many other Kiwis do. He’s always good for a yarn as well!
