Getting stuff to the UK or sending it home, paying for the customs fees…. all costs that can get pretty high. I always tell people that you should only pack what you really can’t live without and not drag kilos of stuff across the world only to then have to pull it all over town when moving flat. I won’t lie, so many people refuse to read the FAQ and have been hit for £££ all the time. It always pays to read the page and if in any doubt, ask the page first. We lost count at how many people have complained about this and how much money was lost, and I am talking thousands of ££.
